Roengnarong Sukklud
Thailand
Roengnarong has just graduated this year and continued to study master’s degree immediately. When he was studying bachelor’s degree in Social Administration (social work) at Thammasat University, Thailand, he worked as an intern at a non-government organization called Labour Protection Network (LPN) for a year. There, he served two duties (a) Labour legal support (many laborers (mainly migrant laborers) cannot access to legal process due to lack of understanding, communication, and costs during the process) LPN thus support them to overcome these issues by providing funds, lawyers and interpreters with close assisting and monitoring) (b) Running projects that the foundation had been granted (for example, during the severe COVID-19 pandemic, LPN coordinated various collaborative networks to accumulate and provide resources for community relief, including medical treatment and compensation from social insurance).
