Phanith graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Management from the Royal University of Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

He is an Inclusive Tourism Project Research Assistant at the Department of Tourism, Royal University of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He also worked as a former intern at a tour company, Trip Scanner, Cambodia.

His research interests include: sustainable tourism development, community based tourism, ecotourism, marketing and distribution channels and human resource management.
