May Thu graduated bachelor of Statistics (Hons) and a Master of Statistics from the Yangon University of Economics. She has three years of experience as an interviewer and data entry for Myanmar Survey Research (MSR) and as a part-time tutor in the Department of Statistics, Applied Statistics, and International Relations Office (IRO).

At present, she is sharing and teaching statistical knowledge and data analysis on Statistics Knowledge and Data Analysis Page and assisting with research papers while also trying to write her research paper.
