A Master’s student at the National Antarctic Research Center at Universiti Malaya, Hasifullah Ibrahim is about to submit his research paper and his Master’s thesis. As an aspiring researcher in the meteorology field, he has a passion for learning and growing as an individual. He likes challenges and always tries to venture into something new. He enjoys advocating for the environment, climate change, education equity, and mental health, all of which hold a special place in his drive to ignite changes.
He received the Best Oral Presentation and the Runner-Up award for the 8th and 9th Malaysian International Seminar on Antarctica (MISA) in 2019 and 2021, respectively, for research analysis on Antarctic Peninsula meteorological studies. He was a Gold Medal recipient during his Bachelor’s degree convocation at Universiti Putra Malaysia for his engagement with different industries and Non-Government Organisations through his advocacy work while maintaining exemplary academic achievements.
He is also a fellow for different fellowships that focus on inducing impact through ideas, innovation, and climate change.
