Ann Suwaree Ashton

Thailand

Ann’s higher education journey started with graduating with a bachelor degree in Physical Education from Kasetsart University, Thailand. She then acquired a Certificate III in Hospitality (Operations) from TAFE Queensland, Australia. She pursued her master’s degree of Business in International Hotel Management and her PhD in Hospitality both at the School of Tourism, University of Queensland, Australia.

Her affiliations and experiences include:
National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), Graduate School of Tourism Management (GSTM, Bangkok, Thailand, Vice Dean for Administration
Center for Service Sector and Tourism Research, Vice Director.

Her research interests include:
Wellness tourism development, spiritual tourism development, destination branding development, hotel restaurant co-branding, human resources management in the hospitality industry, marketing and consumer behavior in hotel and restaurant industry including local chain hotel co-branded with international restaurant.
