Mohamad Syahrul Nizam Ibrahim

Malaysia

PhD candidate in biodiversity and conservation of natural resources. He has published articles on Langkawi UNESCO Global Geopark and is currently working on UNESCO World Heritage Site, Gunung Mulu National Park, Sarawak, Malaysia. His research areas and interests are environmental sociology, economics, community psychology, biodiversity, and tourism.


Recently, he has been appointed as a reviewer for Journal for Nature Conservation (Web of Science indexed), International Journal of Geoheritage and Parks (Scopus indexed), and Indian Journal of Geo-Marine Sciences (Scopus indexed). He was selected as one of the Top 15 Finalists of the 2022 Young Scientist Network-Academy of Sciences Malaysia Chrysalis Award.
