Ruby is currently doing her PhD in Marketing at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). She acquired her master’s degree in Marketing and Communication from Edge Hill University, Liverpool, UK whereas she acquired her bachelor degree in Business and Management from Edge Hill University, Singapore.

She is the General Manager of IGI International Sendirian Berhad, Malaysia (Chinese branch). She was previously a teaching assistant at the Confucius Institute, Edge Hill University, UK. She was also a marketing intern at Xiangsheng Plastic Manufacturing Company in China.

Her research interests include: international marketing, strategic marketing, brand management, consumer behavior, e-business and tourism.
