Victor Reyes

Victor Talastas Reyes has completed his dissertation entitled Gendering in F. Sionil Jose's Po-on for his Doctor of Philosophy in English Language and Literature degree at La Consolacion University Philippines with Academic Distinction and in the same university, he finished his Master of Arts in Education Major in English, Magna Cum Laude.

He is the Communication Arts Department Head of Richwell Colleges Incorporated. At present, he is pioneering a program called Richwell RWS Program where practical communication skills are taught and developed among the students. He served as one of the Board of Directors of Junior Chamber International Del Pilar Chapter. He served as an active member of National Youth Commission and has participated in the 2019 International Youth Development Exchange Program.

In 2022, he took part in LCUP-GERA International Web Conference where he won as one of the Best Presenters. More significantly, Dr. Reyes is also an active member of the South East Asia Research Academy that envisions to transform research into practice via networking and collaborative learning among the participating countries in ASEAN region. Recently, he served as a PLENARY SPEAKER in a Research Colloquium where he encouraged students and faculty members to embrace the culture of research in Higher Education Institutions. His dissertation was awarded as FINALIST for Best Paper in the 3rd International Research Web Conference and 8th Guro Research Award sponsored by the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.

Dr. Reyes is an educator, a literary enthusiast, a researcher, a writer, an advocate of Women Empowerment, and an accomplished coach in Essay Writing, Declamation, Oration and Extemporaneous Speech contests. He is a motivational speaker and envisions becoming a prolific author.
