Thu Zar Phyo

Thu Zar is currently a Deputy Director at the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration under the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, Myanmar. She has been providing policy recommendations by researching and observing the matters of business, investment, and trade from home
and abroad and by comparing them with the best techniques exercised in the ASEAN countries and the international community. She has been playing an essential role in the economic development of the performances in Myanmar. She worked extensively to enhance investment promotion and facilitation. She also played a crucial role in drafting Myanmar Economic Recovery Plan. She has been awarded prizes by various institutions, including the civil service institute of Myanmar. She has been selected to follow the Master's course at the William College in the USA. She underwent training in various institutions and participated in many international seminars, forums, and meetings related to investment, trade, and regional and global economic affairs. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Yadanabon University, a Master of Computer Science from the University of Computer Studies, Mandalay, and a Master of Arts in Policy Economics from Williams College, United States.
