Pochnita is a MEL (Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning) coordinator of a non-governmental organization in Cambodia called Friends International which is working on helping marginalized children, youths, and their families by saving their lives from harm and violence against children and women, and then building their future by providing education, vocational training, and job placement. She is working closely with other 13 local NGOs in a program called Partnership Program for the Protection of Children (3PC) funded by UNICEF and 2 NGOs working to support people with injected drugs (PWID) to be safe from HIV funded by Global Fund, supporting them in tracking and managing their result of work and the impact. Besides the social work in the organization, she also keens to involve herself as a co-founder of a project called Sister Dreams which aim to empower young female youths from a rural area in and around Northwest province called Battambang to strengthen their confidence, leadership, and connections to be able to thrive toward their dreams.
