May Thiri Htun is a former journalism candidate with experience in Human Rights Research. She is an explorer, researcher, and writer. She is mainly interested in researching about minority, gender equality, and human rights. She successfully published her mini-research papers relating to Freedom of Expression as an intern and as a student.

She is also a very hardworking student, having a good GPA in her former journalism studies, and also passed with a Grade A in the Human Rights Studies certificate course at Mahidol University. She is passionate about learning about human rights, international relations, and community development to implement changes in her community as much as possible.

She is a good story writer, and got achievements in story writing at her university and also in outside activities such as the competitions of Woods' storyboard, she won the third prize for her story.
