Caple graduated with a bachelor degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. He then pursued his MBA in Marketing Management at the same university.

He is both a lecturer and researcher at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines- Paranaque City Campus. He is the program coordinator for Hospitality Management at the same university. He is also a part-time lecturer at Norzagaray College, Philippines.

His research interests include: sustainable tourism, tourism management, service industry management, marketing management, consumer behavior and food culture and innovation.
