Ardolf Arce

Philippines

An instructor in the Department of Tourism Management under the College of Economics and Management. He is a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management graduate, a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT), and a Civil Service Professional. At present, he is a Master in Management Candidate.

As an educator, he has more than five (5) years of experience teaching in private and public higher education institutions. He has also held management responsibilities as an educator and restaurant professional. In addition, he has experience with a variety of accreditations and audits, including AACCUP (area leader), ISO (auditee), and CHED- RQAT (Lead Proponent).

The new program offering under the College of Economics and Management (CEM): Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) major in Agritourism (Lead Proponent), the creation of a catering menu book and CBSUA cafeteria daily cycle menu, the formulation and amendment of policies, the establishment of Eco-Cafe, refurbishment of the CBSUA cafeteria, and the development of a module for the Virtual Farm Academy, a collaborative project of SAFE Network and CBSUA, are just a few of his significant contributions. He also attended the Asia Summer Program 2019 in Surabaya, Indonesia, as a representative of CBSUA.

As a researcher, he has worked on market/consumer behavior studies, business concept development, and agritourism as the lead author and co-author. When it comes to community extension, he has served as a resource speaker and facilitator.

To maintain his professional development, he pursues international and national professional certifications. In addition, he attends seminars, training, and workshops in his field to keep up with industry trends and developments.

So far, he has received a National Excellence Award as a College Instructor and Chairperson from LEAD Philippines and was awarded Best Abstract Presenter at the International Multidisciplinary Research Conference⎯Global Leaders and Education Awards 2019.

Finally, as a hospitality educator, he is committed to generating highly professional, industry-ready, and highly trainable graduates by linking industry and academia.
